JupiterResearch's "E-mail Marketing Buyer’s Guide, 2005," ranks Silverpop as offering the highest value in the two categories in which the company operates. This is the second year in a row that Silverpop has taken top honors among email providers, and the third year it has ranked in the top five in this highly-respected research firm's annual evaluation of email service providers.
JupiterResearch evaluated 30 email providers on nearly 40 different product attributes. Silverpop was ranked in two of the six categories the research firm identified for the report. Both categories include email providers whose clients send an average of 150,000 emails or more at a time.
In the High Volume Newsletter category, Silverpop had the highest overall ranking, rated first for business value, and was one of three vendors to score first in market suitability. In the High Volume Promotional category, Silverpop was one of two vendors recognized as having the best business value and received the second highest overall score.
Ranking in both categories evaluated Silverpop in the areas of usability, number of standard features, quality and availability of delivery features, integration capabilities and pricing, among other attributes. The report noted that Silverpop "has great provisions for quickly moving data and assets into and out of the system. The reporting is solid, including the ability to push post-campaign data into a cube for further comparative slicing and dicing."
