
Silverpop Completes Acquisition of Avalon's Email Marketing Business
Silverpop Significantly Expands with Acquisition of Avalon Assets
ATLANTA, July 7, 2003 -- Silverpop, a
fast-growing provider of comprehensive email marketing solutions,
has completed its acquisition of the large enterprise business of
Avalon Digital Marketing Systems, an Irvine, CA based leader in
customer communications software and services. The acquisition of
these assets makes Silverpop one of the largest private companies
in its industry and tremendously enhances the offerings of both
organizations.

Avalon's email marketing group has developed strong experience in
the media and automotive industries with clients including BMG,
British Sky Broadcasting, Movielink, Mazda and Volvo. Other clients
include Avaya, Pacific Life, Unum, and US Bank.
