I think a good solution could be RSS Autodiscovery.

My RSS reader has the option to enable RSS Autodiscovery, and everytime I browse a new blog there is a pop up and a wizard asking me if I want to subscribe.

I don’t know if web RSS readers have the same option, but I think it could be easy to implement.
