Recently, we introduced a free event for consumer marketers (the doppelganger of our successful B2B Marketing University). In short, Digital Consumer Marketing Summit is our traveling half-day event focused on pure education around email and digital marketing strategies in the web 3.0 era. So far, we have been to Chicago and Dallas and next on the list is Minneapolis (you can register now) on August 17th.
Other dates and cities we’re going to this year include:
- New York, NY – Wednesday, September 15, 2010
- Boston, MA – Wednesday, October 13, 2010
- Los Angeles, CA – Tuesday, October 19, 2010
- Palo Alto, CA – Wednesday, November 3, 2010
- Atlanta, GA – Tuesday, November 16, 2010
Obviously email marketing is a core focus at Silverpop, however, this event is focused on much more than just pure email. We work with partners like Baynote, SeeWhy and eROI to give a broader view of where consumer marketing is now and where it is headed. To read more on the content direction, check out marketingprofs blog where Tobias Schremer (who attended in Dallas) did a fantastic job summarizing the day.
At Silverpop, we strive to constantly keep marketers up-to-date on trends and best practices, so think of these field events as an extension of our white papers and webinars except with great food! Hope to see you at an upcoming event.
