If you haven't heard of the E-Marketing Association (eMA), I invite you to check out the organization (http://www.emarketingassociation.com/). My colleague Elaine O'Gorman and I have been working with this group for years. It's not widely known, but I've enjoyed watching it grow and get better each year.
If you or someone in your company wants an intensive review of the state-of-the-art in online marketing, consider the eMA's April conference. Although the agenda obviously is not perfect (I'm a speaker <grin>), it comes close. The conference covers every aspect of online marketing from search to banners to affiliate to, of course, email. The venue is high-quality and the small attendee count makes it intimate and interactive. Best of all, the speaker line-up gets better each year. Years ago, it was mostly vendors but, as the organization's stature has grown, the quality and seniority of the speakers has continued to rise.
For me personally, it is one of my favorite venues for broad online marketing dialogues.
P.S. I try to avoid endorsements but I genuinely do like what the eMA does.
