We agree that the ultimate purpose of business - and therefore marketing and sales - is to sell the highest number of units at the highest possible price (a.k.a maximise revenue). Achieving alignment around a common objective is the goal.  Our true quest should be to identify why this is so difficult to achieve in so many organisatons. &lt;/p&gt;</description>
