Big data is getting a lot of buzz these days, and with good reason. With the rise of social and other channels, there’s more customer and prospect information out there than ever. But how can you take these massive data streams and make them work for you?
My advice to marketers when it comes to big data is to think about the different ways you could take all the information you have about your customers at the individual level, boil it up in a semi-unstructured way, and begin to use it to either prove or disprove different hypotheses that you might make about your customers, when they buy and why they react in the ways they do.
