A New Chapter in Silverpop's Marketing Automation Thought Leadership

Next Friday marks a new chapter for Silverpop as our B2B Marketing Evangelist, Adam Needles, departs to join our agency partner, Left Brain Marketing.  While we’re sad to see Adam go, we’re happy that he'll remain part of the Silverpop family -- continuing to be a Silverpop advocate by helping companies develop and implement sophisticated marketing automation use cases.  Adam is truly passionate about demand generation and marketing automation and this move will allow him to bring these concepts to life by helping marketers develop and deploy sophisticated, buyer-led campaigns that drive qualified sales opportunities.

At Silverpop we’re building the world's most powerful marketing automation platform, but we know that technology alone is not enough.  As Adam recently commented on this blog, “Our challenge as B2B marketers building a best-in-class demand generation program …[is] our knowledge and skill set in leveraging the technology to support marketing strategy and tactics for tackling this ‘brave new world’ of B2B marketing we all find ourselves in.”  That's why we've dedicated time and resources to creating and disseminating content to help marketers leverage our technology, including a wealth of white papers, webinars, blog posts and our B2B Marketing University series, attended by more than 1,000 marketers during the past year.  (And be sure to catch Adam in NYC next week for his B2BMU farewell tour.)

That’s also why we’ve built out an extensive ecosystem of technology and service partners to help our customers reach even higher levels of value through Silverpop's marketing solutions.  And why we recently appointed Will Schnabel, marketing automation pioneer and Vtrenz founder, VP of Business Development to expand our business development efforts and to create new revenue opportunities for our customers.

On behalf of Silverpop, I’d like to thank you, Adam, for the energy and enthusiasm you brought to work each day and your prolific output as an evangelist.  I’ve enjoyed working shoulder to shoulder with you and look forward to continuing our dialogues about all things marketing automation as you transition from a colleague to a partner.

We’re embarking on a new chapter in Silverpop’s marketing automation thought leadership – building on the strong foundation laid by Adam to further empower marketers in deploying successful demand generation programs.  As we continue to expand our leadership in developing great content and supporting world class marketers, we’re launching a search to find Silverpop’s next Marketing Automation Evangelist.
