ATLANTA, October 18, 2005 -- JupiterResearch's "E-mail Marketing Buyer's Guide, 2005," ranks Silverpop as offering the highest value in the two industry categories in which the company operates. This is the second year in a row that Silverpop has taken top honors, and the third year it has ranked in the top five in this highly-respected research firm's annual evaluation of email service providers.
JupiterResearch evaluated 30 email service providers on nearly 40 different product attributes. Silverpop was ranked in two of the six categories the research firm identified for the report. Both categories include companies whose clients send an average of 150,000 emails or more at a time.
In the High Volume Newsletter category, Silverpop had the highest overall ranking, rated first for business value, and was one of three vendors to score first in market suitability. In the High Volume Promotional category, Silverpop was one of two vendors recognized as having the best business value and received the second highest overall score.
Ranking in both categories evaluated Silverpop in the areas of usability, number of standard features, quality and availability of delivery features, integration capabilities and pricing, among other attributes.
