Joining Silverpop are Corey Williams as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions and Jerry Porter as Vice President of Production. These additions come on the heels of Silverpop's acquisition of Avalon's Digital Marketing Systems and will further the company's strategic growth.
Corey Williams, who joined Silverpop in June as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions, previously worked as the Regional Vice President of Sales for CheetahMail. During that time, Williams was credited with increasing the company's regional revenues by 200 percent and helping it emerge as one of the leaders in email marketing. Williams also worked as Director of National Accounts for MessageMedia (now DoubleClick). His tremendous background and email marketing expertise will further solidify Silverpop's West coast presence. Williams will manage the regional sales team, as well as all business development on the West coast.
Also joining Silverpop in June was Jerry Porter, Vice President of Production. Porter's experience includes 30+ years of technology consulting and management. Prior to joining Silverpop, Porter was the Regional Director for Cable and Wireless America where he managed the business and technical delivery operations of a 24/7 Internet data center servicing over 180 clients. In the course of his career, Porter has also successfully delivered over 500 software and technical infrastructure development projects. Porter is responsible for all of Silverpop's datacenters and infrastructure operations.
