RSPCA

Animal welfare charity fetches 45% open rate and 780% campaign ROI from segmentation and testing.

The Company

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is the UK’s leading animal welfare charity. It rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes hundreds of thousands of animals each year, and offers advice on caring for all animals. It campaigns to change laws that will protect them, which they enforce through prosecution. The RSPCA only exists because of public donations, and is a registered charity in England & Wales (no. 219099).

The Challenge

As an organisation that relies heavily on its supporter database, it’s important that the RSPCA balances its need to raise money with the need to keep an engaged audience who will support its wider campaigning. When sending an email campaign it’s vital that they aim to prevent subscriber fatigue yet aim for a high conversion rate to drive vital revenue.
